On 15 February 2023 District Judge Staves sitting in the Family Court at Great Grimsby found that the respondent, Mr Callum Robert Osbourne, was in contempt of court in that he breached paragraphs 1, 2 and 3 of an undertaking dated 31 August 2022.
The Court found that the breach of the undertaking was proven to the criminal standard. This involved the respondent and his partner leaving a threatening voicemail recording for the applicant on 5 December 2022 at 5.47am. The respondent and his partner made a number of clear threats towards the applicant in the recording.
The court imposed a sentence that Callum Robert Osbourne be committed for contempt to prison for a total period of 21 days. The order was suspended until 15 August 2023 and will not be put in force if during the time he complies with the terms of the non-molestation order dated 31 January 2023 under case number GG23F00012.
