In relation to the case of Curo Places Limited v Leigh-Anne Wood claim no H00BS007 on 16 March 2022 at Bristol Magistrates’ Courts, I, District Judge Wales sentenced Leigh-Anne Wood to a suspended custodial sentence of 19 days for contempt of court. The basis of the sentence was that Leigh-Anne Wood had breached the terms of an undertaking to the court given on 1 April 2021 in that she had threatened violence to an employee of Curo Places Limited in the course of a telephone call between Leigh-Anne Wood and an employee of Curo Places Limited on 26 October 2021.
