Order

UPON the Court considering it necessary to impose an anonymity order to protect the Respondents’ right to private life and for the proper administration of justice

AND UPON leading counsel for the Applicant and leading counsel for the First Respondent agreeing to the same

IT IS ORDERED THAT:-

Anonymisation

  1. Until further order of the Court:
    1.1. Pursuant to CPR r 39.2(4), the Court’s inherent jurisdiction and/or section 6 of the Human Rights Act 1998, the names of the Respondents shall be anonymised for all as follows:
    1.1.1. There be substituted for all purposes in these proceedings in place of references to the First Respondent by name, and whether orally or in writing, references to the letters “AB”
    1.1.2. There be substituted for all purposes in these proceedings in place of references to the First Respondent by name, and whether orally or in writing, references to the letters “CD”.
    1.1.3. The addresses of the Respondents shall be the address of their solicitor or, in the absence of a solicitor being instructed, redacted.
    1.2. Pursuant to section 11 of the Contempt of Court Act 1981, no person may publish information likely to identify the Respondents as being the Respondents in these proceedings.
    Access to documents
  2. Pursuant to CPR r 5.4C a person who is not a party to the proceedings may not obtain a copy of an application notice, judgment, order or other documents in the Court File unless those documents have been completely anonymised in accordance with this Order and all references which are capable of leading to the identification of the Respondents have been deleted or otherwise redacted from those documents.
  3. Any non-party seeking access to documents in these proceedings must make an application to the Court, proper notice of which must be given to the other parties.
    Miscellaneous
  4. The Court CE-file system shall be clearly marked with the words “An anonymity order was made in this case on 24 March 2026 and any application by a non-party to inspect or obtain a copy document from this file must be dealt with in accordance the the terms of that Order”.
  5. The parties and any non-party may apply to set aside or vary paragraphs 0 to 3 of this Order provided that notice of such application shall be given to the parties.
  6. Pursuant to CPR 39.2(5) and the Practice Guidance: Publication of Privacy and Anonymity Orders dated 16 April 2019 a copy of this order shall be published on the Judicial Website of the High Court of Justice (www.judiciary.uk). For that purpose, a court officer will send a copy of the order by email to the Judicial Office at judicialwebupdates@judiciary.uk.
  7. Costs in the case.
  8. This Order shall be served by the DPP on AB.
