UPON the Court hearing from Representatives for the Claimant and the Defendant, and also from the son and daughter of the Claimant, namely Connor Ashton and Hannah McQuillan, at a hearing conducted by telephone

UPON the Court being informed that the Claimant died on 25 July 2024.

AND UPON the Court being satisfied that there is no longer a requirement for the Anonymity Order dated 26 February 2024.

IT IS ORDERED THAT

  1. Paragraphs 1-8 of the Anonymity Order dated 26 February 2024 are set aside.
  2. Henceforth the Claimant will now be referred to as “Edward Ashton as one of the Executors of the Estate of Colette Olivia Ashton”.
  3. A copy of this Order shall be published on the Judicial Website of the High Court of Justice (www.judiciary.uk). For that purpose, a court officer will send a copy of the order by email to the Judicial Office at judicialwebupdates@judiciary.uk
  4. Costs in the case.
