Order
On the Claimant’s application for anonymity
Following consideration of the documents lodged by the Claimant and the Defendant
ORDER by the Honourable Mr Justice Murray
1. The Defendant shall within seven days provide a response to the Claimant’s application for interim relief.
2. The Claimant’s application for interim relief and the Defendant’s application to stay these proceedings shall be listed for a hearing on the first available date on or after 15 December 2025 with a time estimate of one hour. These applications are suitable for hearing during the vacation.
3. There shall be liberty to apply.
4. Costs reserved.
Reasons
1. An anonymity has been made by separate order today in relation to the Claimant.
2. I note that the Claimant’s application for urgent consideration is dated 6 November 2025, but it has only been allocated to me today for determination. I also note that the Defendant’s application to stay these proceedings behind ABW v SSHD has not yet been resolved. In view of the imminent vacation, I have certified the applications as suitable for hearing during the vacation. If an hour is not a sufficient time estimate, then it may be that the applications will need to be heard next term.
