UPON the Special Immigration Commission having considered restrictions on open justice to be necessary and appropriate so as to preserve the Appellant’s anonymity
AND UPON the Court of Appeal considering, it necessary and appropriate to continue to preserve the Appellant’s anonymity on appeal
AND PURSUANT TO CPR 39.2(4), CPR 54C(4), s 11 of the Contempt of Court Act 1981, and the inherent jurisdiction of the Court
IT IS ORDERED THAT:
- The Appellant be granted anonymity in relation to the conduct of these proceedings and be known in these proceedings as “F4”.
- Nothing may be published which, directly or indirectly, is liable to identify F4 as the Appellant in these proceedings.
- No non-party may obtain or inspect a copy of a statement of case or any other document filed with the Court and to which they may have access pursuant to CPR 5.4A-D or otherwise, including skeleton arguments, unless any material from which the Appellant can be identified has been omitted or redacted.
- A copy of this order be published on the website of the Judiciary of England and Wales.
- There be liberty to apply on 48 hours’ written notice to the Court and the parties.
