UPON reading the documents filed by the parties
AND UPON it appearing that non-disclosure of the identity of the Claimant and the non-solicitor witness is necessary in order to protect their respective interests
Anonymity and Confidentiality
- The Claimant shall be anonymised in this claim as “IRY” and the non- solicitor witness supporting the claim shall be anonymised as “TPL1” pursuant to CPR 39.2(4) and/or the general case management powers in CPR 3.1(2) and shall have anonymity until further order. No report or publication of these proceedings shall directly or indirectly identify the Claimant or the witness.
- Those parts of the witness evidence of the Claimant and the non-solicitor witness that are identificatory of third parties shall be confidential between the parties and anonymised pursuant to CPR 5.4C(4)(d), 32.13(2), 31.22(2) and/or the general case management powers in CPR 3.1(2).
- The Claimant’s application for closure of the Court file pursuant to CPR 5.4C(4) is granted pending further order. Failure to comply with this direction may lead to contempt of Court proceedings.
- Liberty to apply to vary or discharge the terms of this anonymity / confidentiality order on giving at least 48 hours’ written notice to the parties.
Case management
- The Defendant’s solicitor shall by 4pm on 11 June 2025 either (i) file terms of consent for the Court’s approval or (ii) provide a written update on the issues in the claim that remain in dispute.
Costs
- Costs in the case.
