Anonymity order

UPON consideration of the Claimant’s application for anonymity  

AND UPON the Court being satisfied that these proceedings concern three minor children and contain sensitive information relating to their welfare, education, medical circumstances and family life

AND UPON consideration of Schedule 1 (Confidential) containing the full names and details of the children

AND PURSUANT TO CPR 39.2(4), CPR 5.4C, section 6 of the Human Rights Act 1998, and the Court’s inherent jurisdiction

IT IS ORDERED THAT:

  1. The identity of the Claimant and the three children shall not be disclosed in these proceedings without further order of the Court.
  2. The Claimant shall be referred to as KGE and the children as KNG, KND, KIN (“the ciphers”).
  3. Schedule 1 (Confidential), containing the full names and identifying details of the children, shall not be disclosed to any non-party and shall be treated as confidential to the Court and the parties. There shall be no publication of the names, addresses, schools, dates of birth, medical details, photographs, or any other information likely to lead to the identification of the Claimant or the children. If any statement of case, witness statement, exhibit, skeleton argument or other document is placed on the Court file, an anonymised version shall be filed where reasonably practicable.
  4. Pursuant to CPR 5.4C, any non-party seeking access to documents from the Court file shall only be provided with anonymised copies unless the Court otherwise orders. Any person affected by this Order may apply on notice to vary or discharge it.
  5. This Order shall continue until further order.
