UPON filed and served a Statement of Facts and Grounds and an application for urgent interim relief on 26 May 2021
IT IS ORDERED THAT:

  1. Pursuant to s 1(1) of the Sexual Offences (Amendment) Act 1992, until further order the publication in connection with these proceedings of the name of the Claimant, or any particulars or details calculated to lead to his identification, is prohibited and the Claimant shall be referred to in these proceedings as “LAN”.
  2. The Defendant shall, by 12pm on 1 June 2023, file and serve submissions setting out her position on the Claimant’s application for interim relief – in respect of both release from detention and risk assessment/protective measures.
  3. A return hearing shall be listed to be heard by 6 June 2023, on notice to the Defendant, at which the Court will consider what if any further order to make, including whether the Defendant should be ordered to release the Claimant to accommodation provided by the Salvation Army.
  4. Costs reserved.
  5. Liberty to apply.

Reasons

In all the circumstances, it is appropriate for the Claimant’s claim for interim relief to
be considered as soon as possible.
