Consent order

UPON the Defendant offering to reconsider her decision dated 6 May 2025 refusing to grant the Claimant an extension of time to submit further evidence in support of her request for reconsideration of the refusal to grant Victim of Trafficking Temporary Permission to Stay (VTS leave), within 3 months from the date that this Consent Order is sealed, absent special circumstances;

AND UPON the parties agreeing to terms of settlement in light of the above.

BY CONSENT IT IS ORDERED THAT:

  1. Pursuant to CPR 39.2(4) and/or the Court’s inherent jurisdiction and/or section 6 of the Human Rights Act 1998:
    a. the Claimant’s name is to be withheld from the public and must not be disclosed in any proceedings in public; and
    b. the Claimant is to be referred to as LJ.
  2. Pursuant to section 11 of the Contempt of Court Act 1981, there must be no publication of the identity of the Claimant or of any matter likely to lead to the identification of the Claimant in any report of, or otherwise in connection with, these proceedings and unless the Court grants permission under CPR 5.4C(6), no non- party many obtain a copy of any statement of case until it is redacted.
  3. Any person wishing to vary or discharge this Order must make an application,
    served on each party.
  4. The Claimant has leave to withdraw the claim for judicial review which is
    dismissed.
  5. The Defendant shall pay the Claimant’s reasonable costs of this claim, to be
    assessed if not agreed on the standard basis.
  6. There shall be a detailed assessment of the Claimant’s legally aided costs.
