BEFORE Mrs Justice Heather Williams, sitting at the Royal Courts of Justice on 3rd June 2026, in a hearing conducted by Teams.

UPON HEARING counsel for the Claimant (Mr Phil Haywood) and counsel for the Defendant (Ms Leila Ghahhary)

AND UPON the Court hearing the Claimant’s application for interim relief.

IT IS ORDERED THAT:

  1. The removal directions set for the Claimant’s removal to France, by flight scheduled to depart from the UK to France at 7.45 am on 4th June 2026 are cancelled.
  2. The Defendant shall not (in the event that it is still maintained that there are no ‘reasonable grounds’ for believing the Claimant to be a victim of modern slavery-trafficking) remove the Claimant from the United Kingdom until 14 days after the notification to the Claimant of any further NRM decision, pursuant to the Defendant’s ‘Acknowledgement of Medical Report’ letter of 3rd June 2026, and / or confirmation that no further NRM decision will be made.
  3. Anonymity is ordered. The applicant shall be referred to by the initials LRG throughout these proceedings. No one shall publish or reveal the name or address of the applicant or publish or reveal any information which would be likely to lead to the identification of the applicant in connection with these proceedings.
  4. Costs in the case.
