UPON Mrs Justice Collins-Rice having granted permission for judicial review and made case management directions on 6 March 2026;
AND UPON a hearing initially being listed to determine the merits of the case on 24 and 25 November 2026;
AND UPON the Judge indicating to the parties on 5 May 2026 that he was minded to relist the hearing of the case from 24 and 25 November 2026 to an earlier date;
AND UPON a hearing having taken place on 7 May 2026 to consider the issue of listing and any consequential directions necessary;
AND UPON the Court hearing submissions from Leading Counsel for Claimant and Leading Counsel for the Defendant;
IT IS ORDERED as follows:
- Any party wishing to make an application to intervene under CPR 54.17, whether by evidence or by submissions, is to make such an application by 4pm on 4 June 2026.
- If any application to intervene under CPR 54.17 is to include permission to file evidence, that application is to be accompanied by that evidence.
- If any applicant to intervene under CPR 54.17 seeks permission to make submissions, that application is to be accompanied by an indicative summary of the submissions that the applicant intends to make.
- Any response to an application for permission to intervene by the parties is to be filed and served by 4pm on 18 June 2026.
- There will be a hearing to determine any applications to intervene on 25 June 2026, unless all parties consent to all applications to intervene.
- The substantive hearing is to be listed on 13 and 14 October 2026, with a time-estimate of 1 ½ days.
