Today (Tuesday, 15 July 2025) Mr Justice Chamberlain has handed down judgment in Ministry of Defence -v- Global Media and Entertainment Limited and others.

The effect of the judge’s ruling is to discharge a privacy injunction first granted to the Ministry of Defence on 1 September 2023.

As a result of the judge’s decision, the High Court has ordered that four previously private judgments handed down in this case can be made publicly available.

The Court of Appeal has also separately ordered that its previously private judgment in this case can also be published.
