Order

Before: Mr Timothy Mould KC sitting as a Deputy High Court Judge
UPON the Claimant’s application to rescind the order made pursuant to CPR 39.2(4) on 8th February 2023
AND UPON consideration of the written submissions made by the parties
IT IS ORDERED THAT:

  1. The Claimant’s application is granted.
  2. Paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Order made on 8th February 2023 (and sealed on 3rd March 2023) are set aside.

Reasons

Notwithstanding the objections of the Third Defendant, I am satisfied that there is no justification for retaining the order for anonymity which I made, on the Claimant’s application, at the hearing held on 8th February 2023. The Claimant is represented by solicitors and counsel. She has made clear in the grounds of her application that she now wishes the anonymity order which I made primarily for her own protection to be discharged. That being the Claimant’s position, I am satisfied that paragraphs 1 and 2 of my order made on 8th February 2023 should now be set aside.
