UPON the Applicant’s application by notice dated 22 May 2026 for an unexplained wealth order (UWO) and interim freezing order (IFO) without notice to the Respondents (“the Application”)
AND UPON the Applicant asking the Court to hear the Application in private pursuant to CPR 39.2(3) and paragraph 11 of the Practice Direction – Civil Recovery Proceedings, and for the identity of the Respondents to be anonymised until further order pursuant to CPR 39.2(4)
AND UPON hearing Counsel for the Applicant
IT IS ORDERED THAT:
- The Application shall be heard in private as the Court is satisfied that sub-paragraphs (a) and (e) of CPR 39.2(3) apply and that it is necessary to sit in private to secure the proper administration of justice.
- The identity of the Respondents shall be anonymised pursuant to CPR 39.2(4) until further order of the Court.1
- Pursuant to CPR 39.2(5), this Order shall not be published on the Judiciary website until the Applicant has confirmed to the Court that the UWO and IFO have been served on the Respondents.
- Pursuant to CPR 5.4C(4)-(6) and §§9.1-9.3 of the Civil Recovery Practice Direction, the documents on the court file shall remain confidential until further order of the Court.
- Until further order of the Court, this case shall be notified outside the door of the Court and in all versions of the Cause List only as “NCA v A and B”.
