IN THE MATTER OF AN APPLICATION TO EXTEND AN INTERIM ORDER UNDER PARAGRAPH 14(2) OF SCHEDULE 2 OF THE SOCIAL WORKERS REGULATIONS 2018 (AS AMENDED)

UPON the Claimant’s application dated 18 June 2025

AND UPON reading the N244 and continuation sheet dated 18 June 2025 and the witness statement of Eleanor Poole dated 17 June 2025 in relation to the application for the interim order imposed on the Defendant Social Worker’s registration to be extended

IT IS ORDERED THAT:

  1. Pursuant to CPR Rule 39.2 (3) the application to extend the Interim Order imposed on the Defendant’s Social Work registration on 19 January 2024 by a Panel of the Claimant’s Adjudicators, will be heard in private to the extent it is necessary to do so to protect the identity and interests of the Defendant’s child.
  2. Pursuant to CPR Rule 39.2 (4) the identity of the Defendant and her child should not be disclosed and the Defendant shall be referred to in these proceedings by the cipher TVP.
  3. In accordance with the “Practice Guidance : Publication of privacy and Anonymity Orders” dated 16 April 2019, a copy of this order is to be published on the website of the Judiciary of England and Wales.
  4. The parties be given a minimum of 14 days’ notice should a non-party make an application to obtain documents other than the claim form, judgment or order (pursuant to CPR 5.4C(2)), before the Court considers any such application, and that the parties be given the opportunity to respond to the application (including proposals for editing/ redacting sensitive content).
  5. No order as to costs.
