UPON reading the application of the Claimant for an extension of an interim order against the Defendant and supporting witness statement of Andrew Smith dated 7 September 2023
AND UPON being provided with a copy of a draft consent order signed by both parties agreeing to the substantive terms set out below
BY CONSENT IT IS ORDERED THAT:

  1. The interim suspension order imposed upon the Defendant’s registration by the Claimant’s practice committee on 24 March 2022 for a period of 18 months, which is due to expire on 24 September 2023, be extended for a period of 6 months from 24 September 2023 to 24 March 2024 pursuant to Article 31(9) of the Health Professions Order 2001.
  2. Given the sensitive nature of the information contained within this application, there should be no disclosure of any documents relating to this claim apart from the claim form and this order without permission, and any application for disclosure of the documents to be on notice to the parties.
  3. There be no order as to costs.
