Order
UPON READING the order of Moffett KC DHCJ dated 30 January 2024 and the Claimant’s application for anonymity dated 28 March 2024
AND UPON the Court concluding that publication of information identifying the Second Respondent’s daughter (the Person) would disproportionately interfere with her right to private life under Article 8 in circumstances where she is a child and the proceedings contain personal information about her, particularly in relation to health and social care involvement in her life; and that the proposed anonymity order is a proportionate interference with the principle of open justice.
IT IS ORDERED THAT:
1. Pursuant to section 11 of the Contempt of Court Act 1981, while the Second Respondent’s Daughter, a person concerned with the proceedings (the “Person”), is under the age of 18, there must be no publication of the identity of the Person or of any matter likely to lead to the identification of the Person in any report of, document relating to, or otherwise in connection with, these proceedings, and in particular:
(a) her name,
(b) her address,
(c) the identity of any school or other educational establishment attended by her,
(d) the identity of any place of work, and
(e) any still or moving picture of her.
