UPON reading the Claim Form, accompanying Note to the Court, the pre-action correspondence exchanged between the parties’ solicitors and the Consent Order dated 9 December 2020
AND UPON considering that, given the nature and purpose of this claim, in light of the underlying factual circumstances, it is necessary to make this order in order to secure the proper administration of justice and in order to protect the interests of the Claimant having regard to Article 8 of Schedule 1 to the Human Rights Act 1998
IT IS ORDERED THAT:
1. There shall be an order for anonymity in respect of the Claimant under CPR r 39.2(4), with the Claimant to be referred to as “AB” in all statements of case and other documents to be filed or served in the proceedings and in any judgment or order in the proceedings and in any report of the proceedings by the press or otherwise. No information shall be published that would enable the Claimant to be identified directly or indirectly.
2. Any non-party affected by paragraph 1 of this Order may apply on notice to the parties to have this Order set aside or varied.
