Anonymity order
UPON considering the Appellant’s request for a continuation of the anonymity order
IT IS ORDERED THAT:
- The anonymity order previously granted shall continue in effect for the duration of this appeal, or until further order of the Tribunal.
- The Appellant shall remain anonymised in these proceedings and in any publicly available documents, with the Appellant to be referred to as “[Y4]”.
- The Respondent, their representatives, and any third parties privy to these proceedings shall take all reasonable steps to prevent disclosure of the Appellant’s identity, including refraining from identifying the Appellant in any documents or correspondence that may enter the public domain.
- Any oral hearings in this matter shall proceed in private to the extent necessary to preserve the anonymity of the Appellant, subject to further order by the Commission.
- The appellant’s anonymity will continue for the duration of the appeal or for a period of two months, to allow the Appellant sufficient time to obtain proper legal advice and for the matters to be further addressed.
- This order shall remain in effect for such other period as the Tribunal deems appropriate, to allow the Appellant sufficient time to obtain proper legal advice and ensure the just determination of the appeal.
- There shall be liberty to apply.
