Lady Chief Justice appears at the House of Commons Justice Select Committee

The Lady Chief Justice, The Rt Hon the Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill, has given evidence to the House of Commons Justice Select Committee.
Appearing on Tuesday (26 November 2024), Baroness Carr spoke about a wide variety of topics, including the importance of the rule of law, court backlogs and sitting days, morale of the judiciary, improving diversity and inclusion, the courts estate, greater use of technology, improving efficiency and judicial reform.
