The Chancellor of the High Court Sir Geoffrey Vos, the Master of the Rolls Sir Terence Etherton, Lady Justice Hallett, the Lord Chief Justice Lord Burnett of Maldon, the President of the Queen’s Bench Division Dame Victoria Sharp, and Lady Hale, President of the Supreme Court.

 

The Lord Chief Justice, Lord Burnett of Maldon, led the addresses honouring Lady Justice Hallett at her valedictory event at the Royal Courts of Justice.

He was joined in giving a speech in Court 4 by Richard Atkins QC and Nigel Wilkinson QC (Lady Justice Hallett’s husband).

Also attending the 17 October event were the Chancellor of the High Court Sir Geoffrey Vos, the Master of the Rolls Sir Terence Etherton, the President of the Queen’s Bench Division Dame Victoria Sharp, and Lady Hale, President of the Supreme Court, among many others.

Lady Justice Hallett has retired as Vice President of the Court of Appeal’s Criminal Division.
