(1) By Appellant’s Notice filed on 29 November 2024, the Appellant (Defendant below) Mr Vesnin appeals the decision of Mr James Morgan KC (sitting as a Deputy Judge of the High Court), judgment being delivered on 8 November 2024.
This appeal is made by a Russian bankruptcy trustee in respect of an order dated 8 November 2024 which, based on a disputed interpretation of a Tomlin order, directed the release on or after 24 January 2025 of certain replacement share certificates to or for the benefit of the bankrupt and/or his wife, without first giving time to the Appellant to apply for recognition of his status as trustee in this jurisdiction and for determination of his objection to such release.
(2) By Appellant’s Notice submitted and sealed on 5 February 2025, Queeld Ventures Limited and Mispare Limited appeal the decision of Chief Insolvency and Companies Court Judge Briggs, sitting as a Judge of the High Court, dated 15 January 2025 that the respondents shall cease to be parties to the Application pursuant to CPR 19.2(3); and 17 January 2025 making a costs order.
