(1) Application for permission to appeal the Order of HHJ Ward (sitting as a Judge of the High Court) of 24 February 2022 by which he refused permission for judicial review and ordered costs in favour of the Respondent.
The Applicant sought to challenge the Respondent’s decision on her application for homelessness assistance under Part 7 of the Housing Act 1996.
(2) By Appellant’s Notice filed on 13 February 2023, the appellant appeals the Respondent Council’s homelessness decision review of 7 April 2022. The matter came before HHJ Luba KC sitting in the Central London County Court on 31 January 2023. HHJ Luba KC transferred the appeal to the Court of Appeal under both CPR 52.23(1)(a) and (b) to be heard with the appeal above.
