By appellant’s notice filed on 11 July 2022, the Appellants/Defendants appeal the order of HHJ Matthews, sitting as a Deputy High Court Judge, dated 20 June 2022, whereby he ordered that the Defendants shall pay certain sums to the Claimant pursuant to invoices dated 15 January 2017 and 20 September 2017 and pay contractual interest and made consequential orders.
The claim was brought by a law firm against its former client for breach of contract in respect of two contracts of retainer entered into by the parties. The primary issue is one of construction.
