By an Appellant’s Notice filed on 9 June 2022 the Appellant (Claimant below) appeals the Order of Ms Clare Ambrose (sitting as Deputy High Court Judge) dated 20 May 2022, which gave summary judgment for the Defendant.
The Claimant, the operator of a petrol filling station, held an Insurance Policy with the Respondent. The Claimant claimed indemnities of over £7m under the Material Damage and Business Interruption sections of the policy. The Defendant applied for summary judgment, and on 20 May 2022 the judge made an order for summary judgment on certain issues.
