By Appellant’s Notice filed on the 10 November 2023, the Appellants appeal against the order made by Eady J in the Employment Appeal Tribunal dated 23 October 2023 whereby she allowed the appeals and dismissed the cross-appeals.
The Claimants were former police officers who had suffered work-related injuries leading to total and permanent disablement. Because the disablements had occurred more than 12 months after they had suffered their injuries, the Cs were not entitled to a disablement gratuity under regulation 12 of the Police Injury Benefit Regulations 2006 (PIBR 2006).
