The Appellant (Met Police) appeals the order of Lang J, sitting in the Administrative Court, dated 11 February 2025 by which she allowed the Respondent’s claim for judicial review.
The Respondent in this court (Claimant below) brought a judicial review challenge of the Metropolitan Police’s decision to withdraw his vetting clearances, and then to refer him for gross incompetence under regulation 32 of the Police (Performance) Regulations on the grounds that he can no longer perform his duties without vetting clearance.
