By Appellant’s Notice filed on 6 January 2023, the Appellant appeals the Order of Leach J, sitting in the High Court, Busines and Property Court, Business List, dated 15 December 2022. The Order followed a consequential relief hearing dealing with the financial effect of two judgments from 19 February 2021 and 26 May 2021.
This claim arises against the background of separate divorce proceedings of Mr & Mrs Christoforou, commenced by the wife on 4 June 2014. The Appellant is a property company which owns a substantial number of properties. Under the divorce proceedings, ownership of the Appellant and its assets substantially went to the wife.
The Respondent is a property management company controlled by the husband which managed the properties.
