By an Appellant’s Notice, filed on 11 April 2024, the Appellant State appeals the Order, dated 22 March 2024 of HHJ Pelling KC sitting as a High Court Judge in the Commercial Court in which he made a final charging order against the Appellant’s property
The matter came before the Judge on an application of the Respondent for a final charging order over a property owned by the Appellant. The Appellant sought to have the interim charging order discharged on the basis that the property was immune from execution by operation of s13(2)(b) if the State Immunity Act 1978.
