Defendant’s appeal (permission granted by HHJ Cotter QC) of the order made by HHJ Cotter QC (sitting as HCJ in the QB division) dated 9 January 2020 in which he gave judgment for the Claimant for damages to be assessed, D to pay C’s costs.

Claim was made by deceased’s wife against hotel where deceased had fallen out of window and died while staying there. Judge found for Claimant.
