By Appellant’s Notice filed on 19 April 2023, the Respondent appeals the order of Mr Justice Richard Smith (sitting as a High Court Judge) dated 29 March 2023 in which he committed her to prison for 8 months, suspended.
Background – The subject of this appeal are two applications by Mr Khawaja for orders that Ms Stefanova was in contempt of court for breaching (i) disclosure aspects of certain freezing orders made by the High Court on 13 and 20 December 2022; and (ii) an earlier unless order for the provision of certain further information made by the Central London County Court on 16 September 2022.
