By Appellant’s Notice filed on 6 June 2023, the Appellant below appeals the decision dated 12 August 2022 of the Upper Tribunal dismissing his appeal from the decision of the First tier Tribunal ( War Pensions and Armed Forces Compensation Chamber) dated 22 March 2021 and upholding it.
Issue: interpretation of the provisions of the Armed Forces and Reserve Forces (Compensation Scheme) Order 2011 (the ‘AFCS); a scheme designed to provide monetary compensation to service individuals who have suffered illness or injury that is attributable to their service.
Whether the “Mental Disorders” tariff has been incorrectly applied in this case.
