By Appellant’s Notice filed on 4 June 2024, the Appellants, Stratford Village Development Partnership and Get Living PLC, appeal the decision of Judge Elizabeth Cooke, sitting as a Judge of the Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber), the order being made on 7 May 2024.

This is an appeal from a decision of the First Tier Tribunal (FTT) making remediation contribution orders under the Building Safety Act. The Judge agreed that it was right to dispose of this appeal in the way suggested, by adopting the reasoning of the FTT and without conducting a fresh hearing – in effect creating a leapfrog appeal.
