Civil Justice Council

The Civil Justice Council (CJC) is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the modernisation of the civil justice system. The council’s primary role is to advise the Lord Chancellor, the judiciary, and the Civil Procedure Rule Committee on how civil justice can be made more accessible, fair and efficient.
