Circuit Bench Retirement: Lea

His Honour Judge Jeremy Hugh Chaloner Lea retires as a Circuit Judge with effect from 1 August 2021.

Background information 

His Honour Judge Lea (67) was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 1978. He was appointed a Recorder in 2001 and a Circuit Judge in 2005. He was appointed the Designated Family Judge for Leicester from 2008 to 2012 and the Designated Family Judge for Nottingham from 2013 to 2017. He was appointed the Nominated Judge in the Court of Protection in 2014.
