His Honour Judge Nicholas George Edward Loraine-Smith retires as a Circuit Judge with effect from 23 May 2020.

His Honour Judge Loraine-Smith (67) was called to the Bar (I) in 1977. He was appointed an Assistant Recorder in 1997, a Recorder in 2000 and a Circuit Judge in 2002. He was appointed a Judge by Request, First-tier Tribunal (Health, Education and Social Care Chamber) in 2013. He was the Coroner hearing inquests into the deaths of 30 British nationals who died in a terrorist attack in Tunisia in 2015.
