Circuit Bench Retirement: Overbury
His Honour Judge Rupert Simon Overbury retires as a Circuit Judge with effect from 1 June 2021.
Background information
His Honour Judge Overbury (63) was called to the Bar (M) in 1984. He was appointed a Recorder in 2003, a Circuit Judge in 2007 and was a Magistrates Liaison Judge from 2008 to 2011. He was appointed the Diversity and Community Relations Judge for Suffolk in 2015.
