Circuit Bench Retirement: Tain

His Honour Judge Paul Christopher Tain retires as a Circuit Judge with effect from 12 October 2020.

Background information 

His Honour Judge Tain (70) was admitted as a Solicitor in 1975. He was appointed a Deputy Stipendiary Magistrate in 1990 and a Stipendiary Magistrate (now known as a Deputy District Judge) in 1992. He was appointed an Assistant Recorder in 1996, a Recorder in 2000 and a Circuit Judge in 2005.
