Circuit Bench Retirement: Thomas QC
His Honour Judge Roger Martin Thomas QC retires as a Circuit Judge with effect from 1 April 2022.
Background information
His Honour Judge Thomas QC (67) was called to the Bar (Inner Temple) in 1976, took Silk in 2000 and was elected a Bencher (Inner Temple) in 2013. He was appointed an Assistant Recorder in 1992, a Recorder in 1995 and a Circuit Judge in 2004. He was appointed a Legal Member of the Mental Health Review Tribunal in 2002 (Restricted Patients Panel in 2005). He served as the Resident Judge at Bradford and the Honorary Recorder of the City of Bradford from 2012 to 2017.
