Circuit Bench Retirement: Ticehurst

His Honour Judge David Ticehurst retires as a Circuit Judge with effect from 2 May 2020.

Notes to editors 

His Honour Judge Ticehurst (70) was admitted as a Solicitor in 1975. He was appointed an Assistant Recorder in 1991, a Recorder in 1994 and a Circuit Judge in 1998. He was a Member of the Equal Treatment Advisory Committee, Judicial Studies Board from 2002 to 2006 (Tutor Judge from 2004 to 2016). He was appointed the Resident Judge, Taunton Crown Court, in 2013.
