Judge of the First-tier Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber) Retirement: Peart

Judge John Graeme Peart retires with effect from 11 July 2021. 

Background information 

Judge Peart (70) was admitted as a Solicitor in 1981. He was appointed a Deputy District Judge in 2000, a Legally Qualified Panel Member in 2001 and an Immigration Adjudicator in 2002. He was appointed an Immigration Judge (now known as a Judge of the First-tier Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber)) in 2006. In 2011, he was appointed a Designated Judge of the First-tier Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber) and a Deputy Judge of the Upper Tribunal.
