Judge Simpson (66) was admitted as a Solicitor in 1988 (NI 1985). She was appointed a Legal Member of the Mental Health Review Tribunal in 1995, an Immigration Adjudicator in 2003 and an Immigration Judge (now known as a Judge of the First-tier Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber) in 2005.
