Upper Tribunal Judge Howard Levenson retires with effect from 4 January 2022. 

Background information 

Upper Tribunal Judge Levenson (72) was admitted as a Solicitor in 1974. He was appointed a part-time Chairman of Social Security Appeal Tribunals in 1986 and a full-time Chairman of Social Security Appeal Tribunals in 1993. He was appointed a Deputy Social Security and Child Support Commissioner in 1996 and Commissioner (Social Security and Child Support) (now known as a Judge of the Upper Tribunal (Administrative Appeals Chamber)) in 1997.
