Regional Employment Judge Richard John Thomas Byrne retires with effect from 1 February 2020.

Regional Employment Judge Byrne (65) was admitted as a Solicitor in 1978. He was appointed a part-time Chairman of Employment Tribunals in 1995 and an Employment Judge in 2003. He was appointed a Legal Chairman of the Reinstatement Committee and Chairman of the Reserve Forces Appeal Tribunal in 2010. He was appointed a Regional Employment Judge in 2012.
