His Honour Judge Philip Martyn Bartle KC retires as a Circuit Judge with effect from 20 December 2025.
Background information
His Honour Judge Bartle KC was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 1976, took Silk in 2003 and was elected a Bencher in 2006. He was appointed a Recorder in 2004 and a Circuit Judge in 2012. He was a Criminal Course Tutor at the Judicial College from 2016 to 2023.
