Circuit Bench Retirement: Dawson
Her Honour Judge Celia Anne Dawson retires as a Circuit Judge with effect from 1 June 2023.
Background information
Her Honour Judge Dawson was admitted as a Solicitor in 1985. She was appointed a Deputy District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) in 2000, a District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) in 2004 and was a District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) Course Tutor from 2012 to 2020. She was appointed a Recorder in 2016, a Circuit Judge in 2018 and was a Faculty Tutor at the Judicial College from 2019 to 2023.
