Circuit Bench Retirement: Lethem
His Honour Judge Christopher John Lethem retires as a Circuit Judge with effect from 1 June 2023.
Background information
His Honour Judge Lethem was admitted as a Solicitor in 1981. He was appointed a Deputy District Judge in 1993 and a District Judge in 1998. He was a Civil Course Tutor at the Judicial College from 2001 to 2022 and the Director for Civil Continuation Courses at the Judicial College from 2005 to 2013. He was a Member of the Civil Procedure Rule Committee from 2015 to 2021 and appointed a Circuit Judge in 2019.
