Sir Howard Andrew Clive Morrison KCMG CBE QC retires as a Circuit Judge with effect from 21 July 2019.

Sir Howard Morrison KCMG CBE QC (70) was called to the Bar (G) in 1977, took Silk in 2001 and was elected as a Bencher in 2008. He was appointed an Assistant Recorder in 1994, a Recorder in 1997, a Circuit Judge in 2004 and Senior Judge, Sovereign Base Areas, Cyprus in 2007. He was appointed a Judge of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon in 2010, Permanent Judge, UN International Criminal Tribunal for former Yugoslavia, The Hague in 2010 and a Judge of the International Criminal Court, The Hague in 2011 (a Judge of Appeals Division since 2016).
