Circuit Bench Retirement: Teague KC
His Honour Judge (Edward) Thomas Henry Teague KC retires as a Circuit Judge with effect from 8 June 2024.
Background information
His Honour Judge Teague KC was called to the Bar (Inner Temple) in 1977 and took Silk in 2000. He was appointed an Assistant Recorder in 1993, a Recorder in 1997 and a Circuit Judge in 2006. He was nominated to conduct an inquest into the death of Anthony Grainger in 2015 and acted as Chairman of the Anthony Grainger Inquiry from 2017 to 2019. He was appointed Chief Coroner of England and Wales in 2020 and authorised to sit as a High Court Judge in 2021.
